Make a Lightbox
Inspired by the days - and nights - when North Street was alight, FLAX-LAB invites you to make your own lightbox of some of Belfast iconic sign.
In this workshop, we’ll start with digitally designed, pre-cut timber shapes, ready for you to assemble into your light-box housing.
Then, taking inspiration from our sample signs, you'll choose your colours and design, which we'll vinyl cut to lay onto the Perspex front of the lightbox.
Lastly, you’ll install light strips and complete the box.
Designed to be a fun and experimental session, you’ll take home your own completed lightbox.
This workshop is held at FLAX-LAB, the Flax Art Studios’ digital fabrication lab in Belfast city centre.
