Casting in Resin

Learn how to cast in polyester resin. This course covers the materials and methods of safe resin casting. It also includes a guided exploration of various resin pigments and additives to achieve different looks. It also covers health and safety considerations and use of resin within a professionally ventilated indoor environment.
A great complement to our silicone mould-making courses, the course gives participants the opportunity to explore casting resin in the moulds they've created during those classes. We’ll have pre-made moulds available for anyone who wants to attend this as a stand-alone course.
The course is led by art technician Chris Campbell-Palmer who has a degree in Sculpture from Camberwell College of Arts and many years’ experience working with leading artists as a sculpture fabricator, gallery technician and film-set mould maker.
