Digital Fabrication Demonstration at FLAX-LAB

For August Craft month Join FLAX-LAB for this workshop, hosted at the Flax Art Studios’ digital fabrication lab in Belfast city centre.
FLAX-LAB is our digital fabrication workshop. Join our demonstration to check out the equipment, understand the steps involved in producing digitally generated pieces, and try some of the processes.
Our artist technicians will show you our specialist equipment in action, including:
• Laser Cutting + Engraving
• Carving with our Desktop CNC Router
• Vinyl Cutting
• Heat Press
• Transferring images with our Sublimation Printer
You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, consider the possibilities of digital fabrication, and get to try some processes yourself.
FLAX_LAB is Flax Art Studios digital fabrication workshop at our North Street site in Belfast city centre, available for artists and creative makers wanting to learn and use digital fabrication processes.
