Emerging Artist Programme

In August 2021 Flax Art Studios took over 7 North Street in Belfast city centre as a space dedicated to supporting the next generation of artists who are in the early stages of their career and/or graduated during the pandemic.

With three floors of studio spaces to accommodate up to 30 recent graduate and emerging artists with a ground floor project space. Providing exhibition and mentoring opportunities throughout the year. Artists have full access to our facilities Including digital fabrication technology, wood workshop, casting/plaster room, fabrication area.
